Countdown to Release Date

Postby ken on Mon Jun 30, 2008 4:29 am

Hi Everybody,

The DLG released their Draft 0708 Financial Data Return to us on Friday Afternoon.

We will link it in to the Draft Templates, review it's integrity & calculations and send our feedback to the DLG.

The DLG has set a feedback deadline of this Friday, 4th July.

We can expect the DLG to review ours and others FDR comments after that and expect a FINAL FDR to be released somewhere in the week commencing 7/7/08.

Based on this, we anticipate releasing our:

Option 1 (stand alone templates) during the week commencing 7/7/08
Option 2 (+ PY Comparatives) during the week commencing 14/7/08

IF YOU NEED AN EXPRESS SET BEFORE THESE DATES, PLEASE LET US KNOW VIA EMAIL

We plan to release our Stand Alone Templates this Thursday (10th July) and will start releasing ALL Option 2 & Option 3 Template Orders from Friday (11th July).

We are not sure when the final FDR return will be issued (either at the end of this week or the start of next week), but instead of waiting, we have put a workaround together so that we can start issuing the Templates from Thursday onwards to Councils!

When we recieve the FDR, we will be forward it on to everyone which will link in with your already recevied Templates with a minimum of fuss!!

Councils that have emailed us with an "urgent" templates delivery request will be first cabs off the rank.

The DLG advised us that the FDR Return will be released today.

With that being the case, we would rather proivde the complete suite of files when we email the Templates out.

This means Monday is now our FINAL release date.

If the FDR does not turn up today, we will still release the Templates from Monday with a folow up delivery of the FDR.

ALL Option 1 Orders will be delivered on Monday 14/7/08.

ALL Option 2/3 Orders will be delivered on a rolling basis with at least 42 Templates delivered by next Friday.

ALL Option 2/3 Template Orders will be released/delivered by Friday 25th July - 2 weeks from today.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update as I pull my head out from the YE TEmplate "salt mine"! :D

As of today, we have completed & delivered 20% of all YE Templates Orders received.

We are still on target for issuing close to 50% by the end of this week (18/7), and will get up to the 100% figure by next Friday, 25th July!!

So Manuel or myself should be hitting your inbox any day soon!!

FINISHED!!

ALL our YE Template Orders, being either Option 1, Option 2 or Option 3 were finalised by 31st July.

We'll now start the waiting game as Councils finalise their numbers and inputs into their Templates and then email them back to us for the "pre audit" formatting and eventual "post audit" formatting and the delivery of our "web ready" pdfs that can be published on Councils Internet with the minimum of fuss & maximum of presentation quality! :-)

ALL our YE Templates were delivered by email, so if you have not received yours by now, make sure you get in contact with us ASAP!!
